Science:

-We are learning about tree cookies

-You can learn how old the tree is by looking at the tree rings

-You can learn about the history of the tree by look at the damage and the way the tree cookie is formed

-We played a tree cookie game to learn about the different things that can effect a tree's growth

Math:

-We started a new program called Knowledge Hook. Each student has their own login and they are given missions that will help track how they are understanding certain concepts in math. Mrs. Landry will be handing out parent codes tomorrow so parents can also go on to see how their child is doing.

-We do daily math every day and we do something different every day like shape and space, multiplication, decimals etc.

-We are learning different ways to do multiplication and a lot of us are liking lattice multiplication

-There will be a place value unit test on Monday, October 7th.
